Our New Look
The evolution of our brand… Architects are often recognized as strategic individuals. They are known to analyze the future and understand how that will impact the present. This approach is what makes the profession of architecture both unique and invaluable. This approach doesn’t just apply to their clients. In our case, the AAPEI Council recognized the need to evaluate the future brand direction for the Association and ensure its visual identity is accurately representing the AAPEI for now and into the future. With this, we’ve launched a new logo, one that represents our forward thinking nature and gives a highly modern look and feel.

Previous:
Our previous logo spoke to the classic nature of architecture, and drew on the Prince Edward Island flag. The three pillars emulated the three small trees, the larger pillar the big tree and it took on the lion crest, incorporating all of these elements into a classic, Doric columned Greek or Roman
pedimented structure.
Our new logo:
…pays homage to the old, and to its roots here on PEI while transforming it to a modern design. The three small column/one larger column, with a modern architectural feel, more closely reflect design elements from current architecture. With the use of the “Island red” we keep the Prince Edward Island connection and add a punch of vibrancy. We are excited about our new look, and to seeing it represent us as we move forward.
