Architect’s Act of PEI

In Canada, each province and territory regulates the profession of architecture. In Prince Edward Island this is done through the Architects Act of Prince Edward Island.

This Act is designed to protect the safety of Islanders by regulating the profession and when architectural expertise is required for the design of buildings.  The Architects’ Association of PEI is the body charged with managing and enforcing the rules within the Act.
